MacNeil Bikes FAQ
MacNeil History
The story of MacNeil already started in 1997. Back then Jay Miron and Jamie McIntosh started Ten Pack, Canada's first BMX mail order service. The only problem was that there were no distributions in Canada. Out of pure necessity Ten Pack Distribution was founded and the business mainly focused on the distribution of BMX parts.
In 1998 Darcy joins the Ten Pack Team and with this addition MacNeil is getting started. Darcy had already gained a profound knowledge in the BMX business with Basic Bikes where he worked from 1993 till 1997. Now as a part of the Ten Pack Team he is anxious to develop innovative BMX parts.
The rest is history. With the clever press release of MacNeil one day after the X-Games the hype starts. The Spanish Street legends Ruben Alcantara is announced as the first team rider and adds to the excitement - MacNeil is now a solid institution in the BMX business.
