Baco Designs was founded in 1988 after Chris Rye and Chad DeGroot met in
Green Bay, WI. Soon after, they met Menasha, WI riders Mark Hilson, Mark
Fluette and later Appleton rider Dave Freimuth.
They started producing videos. With their debut titled “Bacovision” in
1990, they cemented their mark and soon after developed their trademark
lifestyle BMX filming and editing style.
Now 26 years later, the boys have 10 Baco videos under their belts and
have left their unique mark on the BMX landscape.
